Assortment of old Hillman, Merc's Cresta and a mk3 Cortina with V8

Al and Chris were already very busy on the Morris Eight having already marked up and removed the Roof
and just finished welding up the A Posts.

A quick look round their new premises revealed a BMW 2002 which had undergone excessive floorpan and inner rear wheel arch replacement

The Morris Minor Project from Al's Website that has been reworked into a Stepside Pickup

A very crusty Yank awaiting some Luvin

Tea and Bacon Sarnies were dispatched from a retro style kitchen complete with Pink 50's American style Fridge and petrol pump by Al's very friendly staff.
Outside the Kitchen on a rollover jig was a Classic Capri that was also getting some much needed attention

Work continued on the Morris Eight with repositioning the B post's and welding them in place so as to strengthen the roof panel before the rear window panel could be removed and adjusted to fit

A couple of other SCC members had turned up while I checked out Al's Paintshop

Inside the Paint Shop was a customer's Drag Truck a stunning piece of kit that was in for fibreglass door fitment and painting. Jayne, Al's wife informed me that Al sprayed the whole truck the colour it is now after the owner got bored with it's previous black and flame colour scheme which Al also sprayed.

A great time was had by all and it was very interesting to see the live progress on the roof chop. One of the guys I got speaking to had been at the bodyshop very early and had taken alot of progress pictures as the day continued together with a couple of vids you can find them on the following link.
