Hey all,

Just joined, already got a couple of requests for help! After last night's meet I was driving back down the A3 & the heater started to squeak, then stoppeed working altogether for a while this morning (horrid burning smell), so motor has probably packed up, as it's intermittent. Has anybody got a good working order matrix so i can keep warm? My daily drives to work will start to get very cold! :o

Also need some indicator lenses as at some point the left lens was removed & the screw tabs broke, so was glued back in, which has come loose.

If anybody can help be greatly appreciated.

And I was having such fun with it!

Give Matt a try down at.........www.retrofordinternational.co.uk

He is based down on the Sussex coast, but does mail order.
He usually has a good selection of spares.

Tickover in Bexleyheath also have shelves full of sparea.
Could also be worth giving them a try.
www.tickover.co.uk

If you contact either, let them know I gave you their details. Ta, Kev.

Half the fun of owning a Capri is fixing it.

Ive got an old orange square side repeater lens - but no front bumper indicator lenses. The tabs alway break on the bumper indicator lenses. I've got a couple of clear repeaters on my wings and i'll eventually get clear front bumper indicator lenses like Gazzas got on his to kinda freshen it all up.

Broken front indicators can be refitted by drilling small holes into the bumper lip next to the original indicator mounts and refixing with self tapers.

If you don't fancy this then the best bet would be reproduction ones about £60 a pair as any original ones that are not broken will be loads of money and their still old and may brake anyway when you fit them.

Repro ones are available from the places listed by Kev above
