Thanks Mags, yes we were lucky with the weather. Certainly brought some great Cappers out to play.

Getting home was ok, apart from a faulty red traffic light that got stuck on red :!:
Me, Gazza & Nick wheel spinned through it, that put us in the mood to do a fair bit of tyre screaching on the way home.

We came through Greenford, just over an hour from the ACE to home.
Didn't leave the ACE till gone 4pm. Made the most of a truly fantastic day.

Roll on the next one, it's already marked on the 2010 planner at the ACE.

8) 8)

  HOLY ****** ****** ******* ******* !!!!!!!!!!!
There we were Gazza Al and me saying that the grey cosworth capri is the fastest Capri in the country at 500 odd BHP. Then i heard a growl from the street. I looked in the street to see a standard mk3 with a hole cut through the bonnet and a small square box of metal sticking out by about a couple of inches - nothing imposing, but sounded like a bear trapped in the engine bay of a TVR. It didn't look as purposeful or menacing as the cosworth and we all discussed what engine it had in it as no one knew, possibly a 3.0 v6 or rover lump and brushed it aside.
I have this second just seen the BHP readout of it and surely that cannot be the readout of that Capri. Surely it's the readout of a nitrous powered skyline GTR or a V10 Lamborghini.
770 bhp  Holy cow batman are you sure???? That is beyond comprehension. What a Jekyl and Hyde motor, a wolf (or more a Velociraptor) in sheeps clothing. Unbelievable. - mind you the reg is wrong on the readout...
